MAME and a lot of memories!!!

After MAME on Palm... I start playing (a little) with XMAME (the linux version of Mame) and I start playing with Mortal Kombat 3... okok... I hope you know what Mortal Kombat is!! I really really hope! :)

So... when I was a child (15-17) years old I had no money for a Personal Computer but I had a nice MSX (Z80 CPU with no disk drive...) where I use to write very stupid Basic programs!

The MSX is also a playing machine... and I had some games... you know games on records... you had to load those games into memory and sometimes this process took some hours! :)

The next step was... The SEGA MEGA DRIVE!!!! A nice playing station where I use to play... Mortal Kombat!!!!
Every day... after school I play Mortal Kombat, but it was not just a play... but a study. Every day I play with a different fighter... and learn everything about him... moves... fatality...ecc.. ecc... After few month all Mortal Kombat 2 was in my mind... all the moves of all the fighters Raiden (my favourite), Liu Kang, Sub Zero, Scorpion, Reptile... etc etc...

After MK2 I start learning MK3... MK3 I think is the best MK. My favourite fighter in MK3 was Kabal!! It is fast... very fast!

And now... after 10 years without Mortal Kombat I try to play with it using MAME.... after few minutes my old memories come in my mind... and I realize I still remember all the moves and some fatalities (for example the Liu Kang dragon one - DOWN-FORWARD-BACK-BACK-HIGH_KICK!)

Here you are MK3:

I think this is the nicest game in the world... there is no like Mortal Kombat. I played also with Mortal Kombat 4. It is in 3D... but something is missing... MK3 is the best!!!! :)

MAME on Palm???? Oh my God! :P

So... I know you are waiting for some Java application running in my Palm... but when I saw the PalmMame project I couldn't wait put it on my device... after some... MemoryOverflow Error... or Segmentation Fault... here it is Mame running on Palm!!!!!Of course I tried to run my favourite game (Mortal Kombat 1-2-3) but no success (rom files are too bug). So I start with smaller game... and finally I...

I love this device... gaming is very fast! ...but I have no time for gaming! :( ehehe! WORKing WORKing WORKing WORKing WORKing WORKing WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guys... I'm going to mobile web! Here it is my new 'tiny game'... a nice Palm Tungsten E2. This device is quite impressive.... and really really nice.

I'm playing with this device since one week and I have a JVM running on it... so I'm going to build some now amazing Java-Palm orientend applications! :)
