When I start thinking that in my previous job I had to wait 4 months to have something to work with. I've received a crappy (Celeron 1,6 Ghz, 1GB RAM and 15" display) laptop after 4 months and a phone after one and half year. Is that possible?I've never talked about the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN for short), and actually the section where I previously worked, the CNAF, so INFN-CNAF. Now, I am out of that shame I can make an objective analisys. So, the exact picture of the INFN-CNAF is practically a public machine that eats public money (coming from national & European research projects) and spread that money among unskilled people which usually (in some complex way) are friend of the heads. Once the financiament is obtained, nobody cares in which way the money are spent. The heads of the INFN-CNAF don't care if you are working hard in your project... or you are not working at all. All the people in the top of the organization (the one which are payed more) are not able to do their job, are totally incompetent (because they get that position not because of their management skills... but because of their political skills)! "Project management" is something really lacking there!
Fortunately I am out, I really hope the Minister Brunetta will change the way things are at the INFN-CNAF by kicking some of the untouchable INFN-CNAF's asses.

I see also that you're so modest that probably you'll accept an advice that I want to give you: You should avoid to tell people about your nerd-ness ("n" can be easily changed - or chanced ? - to "m" with annoying consequences) and in general a nerd is an "unfashionable or social inept person" or "a foolish or contemptible person who lacks social skills or is borigly studious". I wonder if girls in austria like people like that.. I know (for certain) that girls like brilliant boys that have time for them, not to make puzzles or shoot picture of himself with different glasses.
I'm a little bit puzzled that if I go in the page of your profile, where you write yuor interests "computers" and "girls"), if I click on girls, a long list of boy's pictures comes out...

I was only surprise to see that Italian education system is not able to provide people with so basic qualities such as humbleness, respect and balance in judgement.

Firstly you should learn what “working” actually means.
Secondly if you state things without any direct evidence (relata refero “INFN-CNAF is practically a ...”) you're saying meaningless things which pertain only to your (un)belief.
You haven't lost the chance of expressing your opinion, presumably without thinking a long time before doing that, so please, accept any comments coming from others, in particular from who has worked at INFN.

I've been working in the IT (not only at INFN) for nearly 12 years, so I've much more experience than what you have now, and I have no friends among the "big dogs". At INFN I'm trying to change something, essentially what you didn't do.
I suggest you next time to specify the name of persons you want to insult.
Remember, please, that the respect must be the "first commandment" not only in the net.
