Motonacciu's Cake!

Lately, a bunch of coworkers is arguing that the cake I usually bring to the office from home is not made by me, but I just buy it! :(

The only way I have to change their mind is by using the blog... and putting some pictures! You know a blog can be used in several ways... as a weapon or as true-proof, today I am going to use it to prove my cooking abilities!

Here there are the ingredients... I really don't how the quantity u need to do that... the only thing I am sure is that you need 3 eggs! :)

Mixing the eggs... putting some sugar, if you have no sugar you can even skip this step... :)
Then you put some milk, and... important... OIL! I know I am Italian I have to use oil everywhere! I do not use butter as Austrians do (butter is too fat and no tasty), so my cake has a different taste.
And flour...
mix mix mix... and you obtain something like that.
This is not part of the recipe, but with the sugar I wrote my name on it, just in the case someone of you argue that I steal those picture somewhere! "MOTO" stands for "MOTONACCIU" of course! (I did not have enough sugar for the entire name, sorry)
And now, you put in the oven for 45 minutes... and here it is the result!
(Unfortunately the sugar has been melt... so my name is not there anymore... but IT IS the same cake... for god's sake believe me! :) )
The chocolate always goes on the bottom... :( I am trying to improve the recipe to avoid that... but it's kind of difficult! :( I really want the chocolate on the top! :)

I am fucking indestructible!

After years in my HardDisk I finally managed to put these 2 videos on YouTube






Those videos depict the origin of the MOTONACCIU word (which in an onomatopoeic way should mean something hard, raw, indestructible like me :) )! If I managed to survive after the last dive, it means I can do whether I want! The videos refer to more than 3 years ago... but this is the prove I am invincible!

Apple sucks more... day after day!

Today, finally I had the confirmation that Apple sucks! Please read this news from engadget

The new fucking pricey macbooks and macbooks pro have a very nice issue:

According to Zach Honig [...] running your MacBook or MacBookPro without its battery [...] will cause a significant performance decrease: we're talking upwards of 40 percent. When he checked Apple's knowledgebase, it turns out that this is by design -- processor speed is reduced when the machine detects that its relying solely on A/C to prevent it from demanding more power than the adapter alone can provide (and any nasty shutdowns that would result)

And now I say loud and proud, WHAT THE FUCK! How an engineer can design something like that? Smart people use to remove the battery to increase battery life.. and now it turns out that without the battery the laptop becomes kind of slooooowww! So you have to keep the battery attached, in that way your battery will be out-of-life soon and you are obligated to buy a new APPLE batter! Smart Apple, eh?

But why things like that happen? Apple is a nice example of marketing-driven industry. I guess that the 99% of the decisions are taken by these marketing guys who do not understand anything about computers.

So guys, if it was not clear that when you buy Apple's stuff you pay X to have the same components (CPU / RAM / HD and Graphic Card) of an other product that cost Y (where X >> Y ), and 40% less of the performance of Y... that means that your 2000 (X) euro macbook laptop has the same capabilities of an entry level 600 (Y) euro laptop. But yes, you are right... at least your laptop looks gorgeous... but unfortunately I do not enjoy sex with a laptop; so I do not see the point about having a sexy computer!

So, guys... keep buying Apple's products! I really thing Apple is the same as with the religion... when you have an apple you become blind! I had an apple some years ago... I have to admit I was blinded as well! At the beginning you notice that it's kind of slow... but the graphical effects are so cool! After a while you get used to that sluggish machine... you are 10% less productive because of these effects... but you don't know that!

Fortunately I opened my eyes... just in time! But I also know that nobody of you will say that his Apple laptop sucks... because you spent 2000 euro on it... and you cannot admit you did a very bad choice! :) I know... Apple fools you... welcome in the club!
